  • When will it be available?

  • How can I install it?

    Sepura Home can adapt to any sink and is installed as easily as a garbage disposal unit. You can follow a DIY video or ask a plumber to install it for you.

  • I have a septic system, is that ok?

    Yes. Sepura Home is actually encouraged to use with septic systems as it keeps solids out of the tank, reducing maintenance.

  • Can I use bags in the bin?

    Yes. The Collection Center is designed to accept standard biodegradable and compostable liners you can buy at your local grocery store. Alternatively, you can also go bagless and with its stick-free interior surface, organics just slide out.

  • What can I put down my sink?

    If it fits, it'll take it. Sepura Home is made to process any organics you can fit down your sink drain, which is 3 inches in diameter, or the size of an orange. This also includes unconventional items like paper towels, tea bags, coffee filters and solidified fat or grease. Visit the waste and recycling section on your local municipal website to view which items are accepted in your curbside organics bin.

  • Do I need water to run it?

    No. Sepura Home was built to reduce water and power consumption at home, it is actually better if you don't have running water while it's running. That said, it's fine if you want to wash your hands or something while it's running as well.

  • How often do I need to clean it?

    Sepura Home is equiped with self cleaning technology so you never have to worry about it.
